One of my best games but gave me major dissapointment... July 28, 2010 Karyn I loved the movie 'AVATAR' and is by far my number one and was looknig forward to playing the game, so as a Xmas present my dad bought it for me. It cost an extorsinate £45 roughly and would of been well worth it for mabey a 50+ hour gameplay, but it didnt I played it for about a week, 3 hours a day and I was finished by the end of it. I was GUTTED!
It was so fun roaming around and fighting the RDA people and machines, in parts it was hard but getting the hang of it was no problem. I own the WII version and from what I can make out it does not give you the option to play as the opposite side or use machines that other consel versions do. You are just Tsu'tey (a Navie warrior from the film) and you get a staff and bow and some natural instinct. Its very fun however and, hard mode is not very hard but is very fun and can make the game last a little longer. I highly reccomend the game just for playing it but if you are looking for a long term project this aint it. Im not a highly skilled gamer yet I finished it in days. Was SOOO dissapointed because it was ace but far to short!

Not enough play value April 13, 2010 Euphmum 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my son. He and his brother had finished the game in about 4 days, playing for only an hour a day. The play was very dull lots of shooting but no skill required at all. They quite liked the flying but I really would not buy this game just for that. The game was slow to load and the film parts of the game were slow too.
Hmmmmm so there you go, don't pay too much for this game.
Fly on your balance board!! March 7, 2010 N. Loveridge (Dubai UAE) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
OK, so other reviewers have already mentioned that the full gameplay on the wii is not as comprehensive as on other platforms, but Oh what joy to really be able to wave your staff around and whack people on the back of the head! And you'll never have as much fun as you do when flying your banshee from your balance board.
I love the experience of it. In fact, I deliberately take ages to finish the flying levels just so that I can keep flying!!
